Overall Goal
Equip union representatives with a range of tactics in response to current management initiatives to downsize and re-engineer the workplace.


Objectives
Provide information about current management strategies.

Share experiences (of participants and the Union) in responding to management strategies.

Develop skills to think and act strategically in the workplace, at the table with management and in society,

-identify openings for joint activity with management
-judge when to do what to what to maintain Union Involvement, Independence and Identity
(the 3 "I's")

Feel confident and "light on our feet" in response to management strategies and tactics.
